Day-Wise Important Notes
Day 1 – Arrival in Haridwar:

No sightseeing on Day 1 – just check-in and relax.

Book your train to arrive before evening to rest properly.

Day 2 – Haridwar Sightseeing:

Mansa Devi ropeway is at extra cost (~β‚Ή100–₹150 each way).

Maya Devi Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths – has spiritual significance.

Har Ki Pauri Ganga Aarti is at sunset (around 6–7 PM depending on season). Arrive early for a good spot.

Sapt Rishi Ashram is less crowded and very peaceful – good for meditation.

Day 3 – Rajaji National Park Safari:

🦁 IMPORTANT: Rajaji National Park is closed from 15th June to 15th November (monsoon & post-monsoon). Confirm safari availability before booking.

Safari booking must be done in advance – ask your operator to arrange.

Morning safari (6–9 AM) or evening safari (3–6 PM) – morning has better animal sightings.

Carry binoculars for better viewing.

No loud noises or bright clothing inside the park.

If safari is not available (during closure), ask your operator for an alternate activity.

Day 4 – Haridwar to Rishikesh:

Drive is short (~45 minutes to 1 hour).

Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula are walking-only bridges – no vehicles.

Ganga Aarti at Shantiniketan Ashram is quieter and less crowded than Har Ki Pauri – a different experience.

Day 5 – Rishikesh to Mussoorie:

Drive takes ~2.5–3 hours with winding hill roads.

Gun Hill ropeway is at extra cost (~β‚Ή200–₹300 per person).

Mall Road is best enjoyed on foot – leave the car at parking.

Day 6 – Full Day in Mussoorie:

Kempty Falls is ~15 km from Mussoorie town – takes about 45 minutes one way.

Tibetan markets in Dehradun are great for souvenirs – blankets, singing bowls, incense, and jewelry.

Day 8 – Departure:

Optional morning walk or prayer – ask your driver for local suggestions.

Drop available at Dehradun Railway Station or Airport. Also possible at Haridwar – confirm in advance.

Book your return train/flight after 12 PM to have a relaxed morning.
